Cormorant Island, where Alert Bay is located, has many trails meandering through the forest including a boardwalk that crosses the Ecological Park just next to the campground. The trails are a great place for hikers and mountain bikers. There are sections of the trails that are great for all skill and fitness levels of both hikers and bikers.
