Lake Diefenbaker in Saskatchewan / Canada

Begin your adventure on the south side of the Lake at Riverhurst, visiting the museum or launching your boat; wind your way around Diefenbaker travelling east to Central Butte enjoying one of their many annual events; then north on to Elbow where you will discover the perfect lake-side retreat with all the amenities you will need. While in Outlook, walk both pedestrian bridges crossing the South Saskatchewan River and discover the beauty of nature on the trails in between; then move north to Whitecap Dakota First Nation and enjoy a day at the Dakota Dunes Casino Open, the only Saskatchewan stop on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour.

Begin your journey down the west side of Lake Diefenbaker by stopping in at Macrorie for all of your weekend supplies; pop in at Gardiner Dam and check out their interactive displays in the Visitors Centre; then head east of Birsay to Hitchcock's Hideaway and discover the history and the legend of Jack Hitchcock. Pick up a box of fresh fish at Wild West Steelhead, then head back east to Lucky Lake and take a nature hike at the Luck Lake Marsh; stop in at Beechy and take in their annual 3-day indoor Rodeo or pack up your coolers and head south to enjoy Prairie Lake Regional Park; and finally, end your adventure swinging the clubs, boating or relaxing on the beaches of the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park.
